L’ATP chiede a Ubaldo chi secondo lui è il tennista che ha fatto più progressi quest’anno, quale esordiente ha fatto i maggiori exploit, chi ha fatto la miglior rimonta, chi merita il premio Edberg per il fair-play. Come ogni anno l’ATP, ai fini di consegnare i suoi ATP Award, chiede ai giornalisti più presenti sul circuito (che non vuole dire i migliori…), di votare quei candidati che a loro giudizio sono:
A) Il tennista che ha fatto più progressi nell’anno nell’arco della lista che l’ATP stessa ha fornito, sia come classifica _ fino al 27 settembre _ sia come livello di risultati (magari uno che ne ha fatti di straordinari, ma senza troppa continuità, motivo per cui non ha fatto un balzo di classifica esagerato), ma con la possibilità di aggiungere anche un nome diverso.
B) Il tennista che alla sua prima annata nel circuito Atp Maggiore ha ottenuto i risultati più convincenti.
C) Il tennista che reduce da un infortunio o da un periodo di stop come di crisi, abbia risalito nel modo più eclatante la corrente.
D) Il tennista che più di altri meriti il premio fair-play intitolato a Stefan Edberg (perchè ai suoi tempi lo vinceva sempre lui!).
Per ciascuna delle quattro categorie di “premiandi”, l’ATP domanda di stilare una graduatoria di quattro nomi in ordine di preferenza.
Io dovrò fare questa mia scelta prima della Masters Cup di Londra perché è lì che verranno conferiti gli Atp Award.
Quel che vi chiedo è di aiutarmi a decidere. In altre parole una volta ricevute tutte le vostre votazioni, io manderò esattamente i risultati di Ubitennis come se fossero le mie personali votazioni. Darò 5 voti ai numeri 1 di ciascuna votazione, 3 ai n.2, 2 ai n.3 e 4 ai n.1.
E’ un giochino anche divertente, credo, spero che aderiate. Chi segnala dopo la fine di ottobre è fuori tempo massimo.
Vi prego (e mi fido…) di non inviare più di una mail a persona per non alterare scioccamente i risultati (il cui computo, se risponderete in parecchi, ci comporterà un discreto lavoro che non meriterebbe di essere vanificato dai burloni di turno).
Chiederò anche ai redattori di Ubitennis di votare (firmandosi con il loro vero nome) e se possibile preferirei che i voti venissero da nomi e cognomi reali (anche se ci sarà impossibile controllarli), anziché da Nick-name. Chiedo troppo?

,chi vota Nadal nell’ultima categoria potrebbe giustificare la preferenza ‘? probabilmente non hanno conosciuto Edberg o fanno finta di non sapere le numerose chiamate dell’MTO nei momenti di difficoltà senza giustificato motivo medicale o del richiamo arbitrale per coaching.Resto dell’idea che un corretto tennista come lo era Edberg non può essere associato a simil giocatore!!

vedo che arrivano dallo stesso codice ip molti voti a favore di Golubev, che per la verità se li merita in gran parte, però ho chiesto a tutti di essere onesti e non di fare lobby perchè io voti per questo o per quello. tanto più che il mio voto varrà pochissimo, conterà per uno, quindi non sarà comunque determinante. Vi prego quindi: a di non votare più d’una volta con nomi diversi, b….ma ve l’avevo già chiesto e la maggior parte non m’hanno dato retta, di mettere il vostro vero nome anzichè psuedonimi facilmente riciclabili. possibile che anche negli aspetti più banali non si riesca (ovviamente non dico tutti…) a comportarsi con serietà ed onestà? grazie ovviament a tutti quelli ai quali questo rimprovero non è ovviamente diretto ubs

mi permetto di osservare che le nomination hanno un po’ fuorviato le scelte di noi appassionati, condizionandole non poco.
Mi riferisco soprattutto alla scelta degli esordienti.
Ad esempio: oltre Kamke quest’anno si sono messi in luce altri due tedeschini come Brands e Reister, ma non essendo nominati non sono stati considerati.
Ma soprattutto mi riferisco alle ottime performance di esordienti come Benoit Paire (da 334 a 144), messosi tra l’altro in luce all’US Open, e Grigor Dimitrov (da 288 a 135), di molto speriori a quelle di Marchenko (da 120 a 74) o Riba (da 121 a 79), il cui non inserimento nelle nomination ha oggettivamente penalizzato i ragazzi.
chiedo sommessamente a Ubaldo di tenerne conto…
